Do you have questions about your startup that are either about sensitive topics or need more dedicated attention? Get personalized attention to get unblocked and make progress on your startup with Gust's Mission Control Consulting Blocks.

Consulting Blocks are private, one-on-one consulting sessions with experts from Gust’s team and network. They are ideal for getting more help and insight on your timeline, without having to wait for the next office hours or workshop. They are also useful to tackle matters that might be a little more private than a workshop with an audience.

How do they work?

You can purchase consulting blocks in two packages:

2 hours for $600
10 hours for $2500

You’ll receive a private calendar link with times for you to book sessions. Sessions can be as short as 30 minutes or as long as reasonably necessary.

Pete and Ryan will be your main points of contact during and between sessions and they may bring in other members from Gust’s network to help out on specific areas that need deep expertise. Any necessary coordination before sessions will be handled with Slack or email.

What can I use them for?

Any of the kinds of support we offer in Mission Control, but you choose the topic and time. It could be as quick as a 30m conversation about some questions you got back from a potential investor conversation, to a 2 hour session breaking down your pitch deck or capital path.

You can also use them beyond video chat. Say you want us to review your corporate docs to get an idea of your equity grant situation and paths forward. We would use some consulting time to do the review offline and set you up a cap table on our tools, then have another session walking you through it all.

We can even get creative depending on what you need. Just ask us and we’ll let you know if a certain kind of request would be covered.

Can I still ask questions & get feedback in Office Hours and Workshops?

Of course! We are not gating any information access behind these consulting hours; you can—and should!—still leverage the week to week Mission Control sessions and feedback. We are offering these blocks to make more time available, in a more convenient way, with some privacy, and in a way that we can match with our team's capacity.

What can’t I use them for?

The consulting blocks are not a substitute for a good startup lawyer or financial professional. Any questions or requests whose response would constitute legal, tax, or accounting advice would still be directed towards your own counsel or professionals in the Gust network.

Can I bring my co-founders or teammates?

Of course!

What if I book 30 minutes for a bunch of questions, but I get my answer in 2 minutes, did I waste the block?

No of course not, we’ll be reasonable on our side. When you book time you’ll be able to describe what you’re looking for and if we think it might have a super quick answer we’ll be proactive so you get the most out of your blocks. You can also use Slack/email to double check a topic before booking a session.
